During my stay in India, I sent weekly post cards to my girlfriend. Not all of them arrived, but even now, seven weeks after my return, occasionally a card arrives. Yesterday, a card arrived that I have sent on April 30th from Leh, by giving it to the hotel reception. According to the stamp, it has reached the post office in Leh already by June 17th! But even that does not explain the delay completely – but another stamp on the card does: „Missent to MPC Jakarta 10900“. I have no idea why anyone would think this card was destined for Indonesia, but it’s nice to be able to send cards from places where I haven’t even been close to.
